AMBOY - The Amboy American Legion Auxiliary has selected the following five girls to attend Illini Girls State from June 16 to June 22, 2013: Paige Gascoigne, Mariah Davis, Julia Setchell, Brittney Sondgeroth and Micaela McCoy. OREGON, The Northwest Region of the IPA (Illinois Principals Association) hosted a Student Leadership Recognition Brunch on Friday, May 3, 2013, at Maxson Manor, in Oregon. Every school in the Northwest Region is invited to send two participants from the exiting grade at their school.

SUBLETTE, The Sublette Village Board met on Monday, May 13, 2013, at the Ellice Dinges Center with Trustee Tim Bonnell absent.
After approval of last month's minutes from the Board and Committee meetings, treasurer Theresa Wilson advised that there was one CD coming due. The board approved renewing it for 12 months at .35 percent interest.
