AMBOY - Eleven students were inducted as new members of the National Honor Society in a ceremony held on Sunday, May 12, 201 at the Amboy High School cafeteria.
Members were selected by the chapter's faculty council for meeting high standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

AMBOY, The Amboy City Council met on Monday, May 20, 2013, with all members present along with an audience of over 50 people.
Under committee reports, Alderman Dewey advised that the community building is in the process of being redecorated. He also said that getting the microphone system for use by the council at meetings is being set up.
