Miss Amboy chosen for 2010

State plays catch-up on payments to schools; transportation cut 42 percent

State funding continues to trickle into Illinois schools for fiscal year 2010, although the payments are way overdue and unpredictable. Amboy Superintendent Laura Nelson reported that some money has been received by the Amboy School District in recent weeks but even with that, the state still owes the District $195,779.
