Trevor J. Schlesinger, 22, of LaMoille died Oct. 24, 2009 at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 27 at Zion Lutheran Church of Clarion with Rev. Kevin Weeks officiating. Burial was at Clarion Cemetery. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. on Oct. 26 at the Merritt Funeral Home.

Mr. Schlesinger was born Feb. 11, 1987 in Peoria to Kim and Lynn (Karlosky) Schlesinger.

Survivors include his parents of LaMoille; his twin sister, Carla Schlesinger at home; his paternal grandfather, Leon “Lefty” Schlesinger of Mendota; his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Sandra Karlosky of Peru; and his paternal great grandmother, Vera Schlesinger of Mendota.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother.

Mr. Schlesinger was a 2006 graduate of Mendota High School. He was employed by HyVee and Quizno’s in Peru and was the lead singer and guitar player in several local bands. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Clarion.
