Gary L. Stouffer, 57, passed from this world to the next on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010.

Honoring Gary's wishes, there were no services. Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, Iowa handled the cremation.

Mr. Stouffer was born April 26, 1952 in Amboy to Elton (Cy) and Evelyn (Bryant) Stouffer. He married Judy K. Jurgens on March 14, 1998 in Bensenville.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; two step-daughters Dana (Paul) Moran, Chicago; Rebecca (Dave) Vannier and son Dylan, Knoxville, Tennessee; brother, Rick, Amboy; niece Roxie (Danny) George and sons, Wichita, Kan.; Brian Stouffer and family, Mendota; and a special aunt, Marjorie Ritchie of Independence, Mo.

Mr. Stouffer graduated from Amboy High School and worked for Hart-Carter Manufacturing Co. for over 20 years. He then earned an associate's degree at Sauk Valley Community College, Dixon, and greatly enjoyed helping people as an X-ray technician. He loved all animals, especially cats. He raced motorcycles when he was younger and his love of motorcycles continued throughout his life. Guns were a special interest that he shared with his brother, Rick.
