Hugh J. Rose

OCALA, Fla. - Hugh J. Rose, 84, of Ocala, Fla., died on June 21, 2012, at his home.

Mr. Rose was born in Amboy to Arthur and Victoria (Rink) Rose on April 1, 1928.

Survivors include his son, Gregory (Cynthia) Rose of Ocala, Fla.; a brother, Arthur (Margaret) Rose of Bonne Terre, Mo.; a grandson of California; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beth; a brother, Tony; a daughter, Dana; and his parents.

He attended St. Anne's grade school and Marmion Military Academy in Aurora.

He owned the Horses and Hounds Restaurant in Ocala and a thoroughbred horse farm.
