Schnaiter, Pufky say vows

Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Pufky

AMBOY - Amanda Schnaiter and Jeremy Pufky were united in marriage on Oct. 30, 2011, at 4:30 p.m., at The Riverview in Simsbury, Conn. The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Robert Beverage.

The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Carol Schnaiter of Amboy. The groom is the son of David and Karen Pufky of Endwell, N.Y.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Serving as maid of honor was Jessica Schnaiter, sister of the bride.

The bridesmaids were Molly Drennen, cousin of the bride; Jen Pufky, sister of the groom; and Niobra Keah, friend of the ride.

Flower girls were Gideon and Avery Pufky, nieces of the groom.

Servicing as best man was John Pufky, brother of the groom.

The groomsmen were Eric Jenson, friend of the groom; Jamie Stasko and Joey Tornatore, both cousins of the groom.

Ushering the event was Alex Drennen, cousin of the bride.

The bride wore a white Casablanca dress, accented by her mother's veil, grandmother's necklace, and a handkerchief made from the lace of her grandmother's dress.

The reception was held at The Riverview in Simsbury, Conn. The couple were thankful the site had a generator after most of the state of Connecticut lost power the day before due to a rare October snowstorm. The storm dumped close to 20 inches of snow and knocked out power for close to two weeks.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Amboy High School and a 2008 graduate of Bradley University, with a business finance degree. She is an assistant account manager for PepsiCo.

The groom is a 1999 graduate of Maine-Endwell High School and a 2003 graduate of State University of New York at Cortland, N.Y. with a business economics degree. He is a key account manager at Pepsi Beverages Co.

After a honeymoon in Key West, Fla., the couple reside in Delmar, N.Y.
