Softball team plans parent meeting

The Amboy Rage 10U traveling softball team will be having a parent meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12 at the Amboy High School softball diamond.
The meeting is for parents of any girl in fourth and fifth grades that are interested in playing softball for the Rage team. The girls cannot be 11 years old before Dec. 31.

The Amboy Lady Vikings' eighth grade volleyball team won its opening match of the 2010 season with a 25-15, 25-10 victory over Erie on Aug. 25.
