Couple to celebrate 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Borell Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Borell Jr. of Amboy will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a private family gathering at their house hosted by their children and grandchildren at the end of June.

Albert Borell and Normajean Bulfer were married June 2, 1962, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Sublette.

They are the parents of Judy Unrath of McHenry, Connie Pettenger of Lee Center, Joe Borell of Amboy, Carol (Ken) Drew of Dixon, and Shelly Hanna of Huntley.

They have eight grandchildren, Bryan and Zachary Borell of Amboy, Kayli Borell of Rochelle, Kurt Pettenger of Lee Center, Amanda and Andrew Unrath of McHenry, Adam Pettenger and Michael Hanna of Huntley.
