Bonnells mark golden wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bonnell…then and now

SUBLETTE - Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bonnell will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 11. They will celebrate the occasion with a family dinner.

Robert Bonnell and the former Marilyn Cook were married on Aug. 11, 1962 at Holy Cross Church in Mendota with Msgr. Leo Wissing officiating. Their attendants were Barbara Oates and Harold Bonnell Jr.

They are the parents of Alice (Keith) Klein of Sublette, Angela Bonnell (Steve Menken) of Normal, and Timothy (Tonya) Bonnell of Sublette. They have four grandchildren, Matthew, Katie and Sean Klein, and Brady Bonnell.

Bob was a pressroom supervisor at Wayside Press and Marilyn was a label editor at RR Donnelley. Both are now retired.
