AMBOY - Students at Amboy Junior High School have a contest twice a year where the advisory class with the highest amount of Box Tops collected receives a Subway lunch.
The first winner for this year was Betsy Jones' fifth grade class, pictured with its Subway lunch, which collected $138.40 worth of Box Tops. Second place was Mrs. Dinges' sixth grade class with $68.75.
The money raised from the Box Tops helps the library purchase new books, and parents are encouraged to send them at any point throughout the school year. The next contest winner will be in March.
