The Amboy Lady Clippers began a busy week by journeying to LaMoille for a non-conference game on Nov. 26, and despite some cold shooting, they managed a 53-31 victory.
Only four players scored for AHS, but three hit double figures. Kaitlyn Liebing exploded for 22 points, 15 rebounds and three recoveries. Autumn Smith was next with 13 points, nine rebounds and three blocks, while Tori Welch had a great second half with 11 points and six boards. Brooke Lovgren rounded out the scoring with seven points and had a season-high 11 rebounds. Kennedy Dinges dished out an impressive nine assists and added a team-high four recoveries.

Amboy encountered a tough Riverdale squad on Nov. 29 and dropped a 54-39 decision.
Liebing led the squad with 18 points as she made eight of 13 shots. Smith had eight points and eight rebounds, while Lovgren supplied eight points and four caroms. Dinges led the team with six assists and Liebing contributed five recoveries.

Amboy's girls battled Dixon in the Amboy Shootout on Dec. 1 and came away with a hard-fought 30-22 win.
The Lady Clippers zoomed out to an 8-0 lead before Dixon fired off the next five points to end the first period. But Amboy pushed on and claimed a 16-9 halftime lead.
Liebing and Smith each tallied 10 points, while Smith had 10 rebounds and Liebing six. The real story of the game was AHS's defense as Smith blocked six shots to stop Dixon's penetration, while the rest of the team bothered Dixon's outside shooting.
Dinges netted six points and three assists, while Lovgren added three assists and three tallies.
