Pit surround wall constructed in AHS auditorium

AMBOY - A fundraiser was held recently by the Amboy High School Drama Department to raise money to build a removable pit surround in the auditorium for the Pit Orchestra.

Mark Daskiewicz and Curt Daniels volunteered their time and constructed the wall. It is insulated, which will allow the sound to go up and over the wall, so that those sitting near the pit orchestra will not have the sound directed right at them.

Keep this in mind when you make plans to come see “Grease” on March 8, 9, and 10.

A 50/50 drawing is also being held to support the Drama Department. Tickets are available at the Amboy Pharmacy, City Hall or each evening before the production. Drawing to be held March 10 at intermission.
