WEST BROOKLYN - Jeffrey L. Chapman, 49, of West Brooklyn died Feb. 23, 2013 at his home.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 27 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Larry Sheaves officiating. Burial was at Greenfield Cemetery, LaMoille. There was no visitation.
Mr. Chapman was born April 25, 1963 in Mendota to Donald Leon Chapman and Mary Kay (Swope) Evans. He married Joyce O’Brien on June 2, 1998 in Litchfield.
Survivors include his wife; three stepchildren, Virginia (Rich) Shoultz of Litchfield, John (Michelle) O’Brien of Raymond and Dawn Woolard of Mendota; 12 step-grandchildren; 15 step-greatgrandchildren; his mother, Mary Kay Evans of Coram, Mont.; one brother, Timothy E. Evans of Columbia Falls, Mont.; and seven sisters, Kimberly K. (Michael) Bialas, Denise R. (Edward Culver) Chapman, Wanda S. (Scott) Winters, Candy J. (Greg) Changler, Tona K. (Lonnie) Brier, Tora A. (Tony) Powell and Lavina J. (Doug) Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Terry; and one step-greatgrandchild.
Mr. Chapman was a cook and a farmer. He enjoyed fishing.
