Amboy Hometown Christmas Walk concludes drawings

AMBOY — The final drawing for in 2020 Amboy Hometown Virtual Christmas Walk was held on Dec. 18.

The winner of the Dec. 18th grand prize was Evelyn Eisenberg. This prize was sponsored by Turquoise Turtle Apothecary, Mary Anne Duve, Hanson’s Chiropractic, Prime Time Live, The Last Alarm, Iron Tree, Amboy Veterinary Clinic, Napa, Amboy Fire Department, Amboy Garden Shop, Subway, The Warehouse Boutique, First National Bank Amboy, Amboy Hometown Pharmacy, Two Sisters on Main, First Federal Savings Bank, Revolution Wellness, Johnson Oil/Amboy Shell, Dollar General, & Nails by Lisa.

The winner of our Folsom’s Bakery cookie tray is Amy Mccoy

The winner of our $20 Amboy Shell/Johnson Oil gift certificate Lauren Foste. 

We had four winners of gift bags filled with fun items Cathe White, Jim Travi, Jean Travi, and Tabitha Berogan.

Jenny Hicks the grand prize winner of the Family Experience giveaway donated by Shady Oaks Country Club and Top Notch Builders.

The two winners of the gift bags filled with a winter candle and candle ring from Inspired Home Decor & Gifts, wine from Longbranch Saloon, Christmas ornament from The Main Flower Shop, and 1 free Hair Cut or 1 free eyebrow wax from Jessica Fiscal and Ashley Grim are Laurie Byers and Vickie McWethy.

The winner of the basket filled with a purse, brush, eyebrow wax, and hair and body products from Tasha O’Malley and Terri Leffelman is Adrianna Whitney.

The winner of the giveaway sponsored by Johnson Tractor and Meusel’s Dairy Delite is Tonya Nauman.

Amy Mccoy was the winner of our Amanda Hintz Photography Gift Certificate and goodie filled Christmas gift basket.

The winner of a Meusel’s Dairy Delite gift certificate, Melissa and Doug Play Ice Cream set, and a Radio Flyer Wagon filled with fun goodies from Amboy Arts and Antiques is Jena White.

Other events planned in December include:

• Pankhurst Memorial Library will have a Curbside Pick-Up Craft, along with their Tales for Tots & Kids bags available.

• Lee County Ag in the Classroom will be hosting a Story Walk has been extended to New Year’s Eve. This Story Walk is where you can view the pages of the book, “A Wish To Be A Christmas Tree,” in the downtown windows. The story starts at the Amboy News window.
