AMBOY — The Amboy Clippers dropped a 6-3 decision to Eastland on May 24 at Lanark.
Andruw Jones paced the offense with two singles and a double. Jackson Rogers picked up a pair of singles and an RBI, while Joe Ackert and Jairon Hochstatter added RBI singles.
Ian Eller pitched for the Clippers and threw six innings with six strikeouts.

Milledgeville doubled up the Clippers, 8-4, on May 27 at Milledgeville.
Amboy held a 2-1 lead heading to the bottom of the second when the Missiles struck for four runs to seize a 5-2 lead. The Clippers could only add single tallies in the fifth and sixth frames.
Ian Eller and Andruw Jones collected two hits apiece in Amboy’s six-hit attack.
Tucker Lindenmeyer got the start on the mound and was relieved by Jones in the second, who went the rest of the way.
